PBS’ Hamilton’s America, a 40 minute sneak peek at documentary giving a behind-the-scenes look at the Broadway musical “Hamilton.” as part of PBS’ “Great Performances” this fall. “Hamilton’s America” will showcase the making of the hit Broadway musical, following creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda, along with his team. The project will feature interviews with key thinkers and artists, plus scenes from “Hamilton,” including never-before-seen footage. Special Guest: Plymouth State University’s Dr. John Krueckeberg will discuss “Why American Culture Vilified Hamilton before Broadway Re-Discovered Him.” Event is free and open to the public. However, a ticket is required and can be obtained in Colebrook at Any Blooming Thing, 12 Parsons St.; Creative Natives, 117 Main St.; and at the Tillotson Center Box Office.
